What Can We Do For You?

New Construction - Residential
We build all sizes and shapes of houses regardless of how out of the ordinary the home owner feels we might think the design is. We construct most of our projects using only a simple set of blue prints, some have had no plans at all just a floor plan drawn on a sheet of paper. Expensive architectural drawings are not required, save your money for the finishing touches on your Dream Home. If you can either draw it or explain it to us we can, in most cases , build it. We take your construction project right from the pouring of the foundation, through the framing, installing of all window and doors, applying of exterior trims and siding to the installing of the insulation, drywall and completing it all by hanging all interior doors, applying the interior trims and even the construction of the kitchen cupboards and bathroom vanities if desired.

New Construction - Commercial
As contractors with varied experiences in construction, pre-construction planning and construction management, we are able to offer a wide range of services to optimize efficiency and value for our clients. Our team has completed ground-up buildings, commercial renovations and historic restorations. We have the ability to answer construction challenges with innovative solutions.

Renovations
We do all types of renovations, right from the overhauling of a simple bathroom to the complete renovation of your home from top to bottom, exterior and interior. This can include everything from raising the house , installing a new concrete foundation and concrete floor, to a new roof, new window and doors, new drywall and all interior trims. Many even include the construction of new custom-made cupboards.

Historic Restorations
Restoring a century old home back to its original stature is a challenge at any time for any company but it is one that we love to take on. In most cases the project has to start with the raising of the structure to enable us to install a new foundation. With this accomplished and the house now sitting up out of the ground and level we can begin to install any new structural components in the floor area that need replaced. Then the matter of the roof area and any chimneys that come out though the roof have to be addressed, whether replaced or just repaired depending on the condition of course. Then the replacing or rebuilding of all rotten or damaged windows, doors and exterior trims has to be looked at before we can start to apply the exterior siding. Once the exterior is tight then the gutting of the interior can take place. This is where the decision has to be made whether to try and straighten the walls or it is better to reframe the walls using new straight lumber.

The final and usually most important part of the whole restoration project is the interior trims, floors and cupboard areas. We work with a milling company that can replicate the old trims and finishes to resemble the century home look exactly or as close as possible. As for the floors there are so many styles of wooden floorings available that we have very little problem creating a old floor look and , as for the cupboards, mostly we have to custom design and construct them right on sight to acquire that hundred year old look.

This process all takes time, but in the end it is like stepping back in time in a totally new house.

Roofing and Siding
We repair, restore or totally replace most any type of roof or siding product available on the market today. The most popular roof materials are still the asphalt or fiberglass products but we have installed a lot of steel sheathing roofs in the last few years. As for the siding we install everything from vinyl siding to Hardi Plank (cement board siding) to the old standby eastern cedar shingles.

Windows and Doors
We replace and install all styles, sizes and shapes of both windows and doors. Regardless of the size or shape of the window or door, the same care and attention has to be paid to the installation. First and foremost the unit has to be perfectly level and plumb to operate correctly. As they are exposed to the exterior great care must be taken to ensure that the unit is totally sealed. This is accomplished by first applying a good caulking between the unit and the wall and then in most cases taping around the unit for a final seal before installing the siding around it. As for the interior aspect of the unit most are secured with screws into the side framing then we use a expanding foam between the unit and the framing around it to ensure an air tight fit in the wall.

Flooring
We install a large variety of hardwood floorings including the new and quite popular Bamboo flooring. We also install ceramic tile flooring in many areas where a wooden floor application is not a practical choice.

Complete Concrete Work
Just like the old saying goes you have to start with a good foundation for anything to last whether it is your Dream Home or a single car garage in your back yard. With this in mind any structure we build (regardless of how large or small) we prefer to do all the concrete work ourselves therefore ensuring a square and level foundation to build on.

Custom Cabinets
Sometimes the 'out of the box' kitchen, pantry, bathroom or closet cabinets and shelves just won't fit, or you want solid wood or a unique style. We can build cabinets to your specifications, utilizing space in ways that cabinet suppliers cannot. The secret, we build them on site to your specifications, with the materials and design you desire.
